Welcome to Reed Wright Heating's web site. Reed Wright heaiting company started on Queen Anne hill in 1938 delivering coal and sawdust for heating homes around Seattle. Reed Wright and his brother operated the company to start with. The company transitioned from coal and sawdust to oil then to gas heat in the 50s. The company also started an electrical division back in the late 50s or early 60s. As electrical contractors the company also did some of the Seattle center wiring for the worlds fair. The company slowly backed off of electrical and focused on heating and air conditioning. Today the company installs and services boilers (hot water and steam heat) and forced air heating and cooling systems. We work on all sizes and types of houses to some of the largest homes in Seattle. A large part of our work is also on apartment and commercial buildings in Seattle. A specialty of ours is pre 1940s buildings and homes although we work on all ages and types of structures. Tim Smith and Bryan Wilson took over the company in 1986 after working for Mr Wright for several years. Today they still own and operate the business and the comany has grown several times over but we are still a small company on Queen Anne with a customer service minded staff. We hope you will contact us for your heating or cooling needs. Thank you for visiting.
